Clive fully retired six months ago in April 2011 and is now able to fulfil his passion for woodturning.

He bought his first lathe twenty five years ago and it has played a big part in his life. He has a wealth of experience in all aspects of woodturning, each piece created shows the beautiful grains and colours of the wood as nature intended.

Clive produces fine quality works of art, and has held various exhibitions, and his work has previously been displayed in local National Trust Shops.

He produces unique pieces of work, which include vases, bowls, mushrooms, fruit, urns and caskets. His speciality is thin stemmed goblets with lids.

English woods are mainly locally sourced, though some exotic woods from sustainable sources are used because of their beautiful grains, especially in the thin stemmed goblets.

Commission work is undertaken.
